Timeless and Classic Photography
I decided I love these little no-nonsense beach weddings. So much fun to really get creative and have the time I need to just shoot with the couple. I really enjoy it. This was for Nicole at Behind The Lens Maui. Thanks so much to Nicole and also our beautiful little island of Maui. I love these Kapalua Bay weddings. Really gorgeous lighting and what a great couple. I'm lucky.
iPhone beach kids.
This photo displays the epitome of kids. Seriously. Destructive. Crazy. Monkeys. Crimony Cole...be nice! (This is what happens when you have a camera by you all the time. You catch the good AND the bad.) I know it's horrible to admit, but this photo makes me laugh really hard. (Sorry Demi.) It's just classic. Siblings and all the revelry that goes along....
I told you all that I lived in the jungle! Complete with banana trees.

Can I tell you how much fun I had at this party? Great people watching, (sorry to all those that I was taking unadulterated photos of with my iPhone...eeek) great friends, awesome tunes and of course, an amazing beach. I LOVE Maui!! I shot these with my iPhone because I was not in the mood to lug around my Canon 5D Mark II camera. No way Jose.
My best friend and her fiance now husband. I will take credit for setting them up. It was my mastermind at work.....can you say chemistry?? Hellooooooo!!
As we all know I'm slightly obsessed with black and whites. I like warm black and whites, cold black and whites, all of em. I love black and whites with high contrasts with these type of beach shoots because the textures really come out. Yes....Sand everywhere. I will post more later!
Need I say more? Seriously? Um, I can only wish to be this beautiful. Hurry up and be together forever you two.... :)
I'm obsessed with this look. The blonde. The eyeliner. The Safari look. My fav. Every year it makes it's mark. Funny, it kind of reminds me of what I call one of my cats. Haiku Jungle Kitty. Hmm....you will hear and see of that term in the near future.
p.s. I'm going to get my hair colored and done just like this girl's. Um...hello beachy hot!
